VUUR Join Epica On New EU Tour, Lose Marcela Bovio


It's been a mixed week for Anneke Van Giersbergen's new band VUUR. It was announced yesterday that former Stream of Passion vocalist Marcela Bovio has left the group, citing creative differences over how to approach the vocal recordings. You can read her full statement here.

But in better news, the band has been announced as the support for a new EU tour alongside symphonic metal giants Epica and Tunisian progressive metallers Myrath. The tour is a second European outing for Epica in support of their latest album The Holographic Principle.
