Liv Kristine Announces Collaboration With Doro

Liv Kristine (Leaves' Eyes, ex-Theatre of Tragedy) has announced that her upcoming solo album Vervain will feature a duet with metal legend Doro Pesch. Doro came to fame in the 80s as the lead of German band Warlock, and has since had an extensive solo career.

Liv posted the following message for fans on her Facebook page:

"Dear Brothers & Sisters in Metal,
I have great news for you! I am more than proud to announce that DORO PESCH has recorded her vocals at Mastersound Studio for the duet "Stronghold of Angels" which will be released as one of the tracks on my up-coming solo album, VERVAIN! This metal hymn is indeed special to me and DORO's unique voice takes this song to an exceptional emotional level. Thank you, DORO, for staying with us, moreover, for the great late-night talks.
Love,
Liv"

You can pre-order Vervain as a limited digipack edition from Napalm Records, Nuclear Blast, Amazon DE, EMP and more. It will be released on October 24th in Europe, October 27th in the UK and November 4th in the USA and Canada.

Liv will be joining Anneke Van Giersbergen and Kari Rueslåtten for The Sirens tour this autumn.
