The first ever festival celebration of symphonic metal in the UK is set to be held in 2015. The Northern Symphony Festival has been established to raise support for the music, and hopes to feature different styles of band to show off what the genre has to offer. It will take place on Saturday 4th April in Ousegate, Selby (near York).
This new event is well worth supporting - it can be very difficult to start up a festival, so if you're able to, do go along. Let's show the rest of the world the UK's appreciation for this genre!
Until the 15th of November tickets will be available for the early bird price of £8. (Age 14+ only.)
